Wild Chicory is an intimate, upscale neighbourhood restaurant in Midtown Toronto known for its Canadian-inspired cuisine, warm hospitality and polished but approachable dining experience.

We are looking for an experienced, confident Server who understands the details of elevated service and genuinely enjoys creating a memorable guest experience.

Because we are a small, hands-on restaurant, every member of the front-of-house team plays an important role. We are looking for someone who can work independently when needed, communicate well with the kitchen and fellow team members, and deliver warm, attentive service without being overly formal.

• Provide polished, knowledgeable and welcoming table service 
• Guide guests confidently through the menu and daily offerings 
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate clearly with the kitchen 
• Maintain strong knowledge of ingredients, preparation and dietary considerations 
• Provide thoughtful wine, cocktail and beverage recommendations 
• Monitor tables throughout the dining experience and anticipate guest needs 
• Maintain clean, organized and properly prepared sections 
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house team 
• Handle guest concerns professionally and calmly 
• Support opening, closing and side-work responsibilities 
• Help create the warm, neighbourhood hospitality Wild Chicory is known for 

• Minimum 2 years of serving experience in an upscale or full-service restaurant 
• Strong understanding of professional table service 
• Comfortable independently managing a section 
• Excellent communication and guest-service skills 
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask 
• Confident discussing menu items, ingredients and dietary considerations 
• Strong wine knowledge, including the ability to confidently discuss varietals, regions and pairing recommendations 
• Cocktail knowledge is a strong asset 
• Reliable, polished and professional 
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a small team 
• Evening and weekend availability 
• Smart Serve certification required
